Physical Facilities

  • Automatic Weather Station: Click here to learn more. 01 AWS is mounted inside the territory of the atmospheric observatory. 02 more are installed in Sunamganj and Lalmonirhat districts respectively.

  • Computational Facilities – Desktop: Click here to learn more. All of them are used regularly by students and faculty members of the department.

  • Laboratories: 
    A) NWP and Computational Laboratory: This laboratory facilitates high-performance computation for researches in meteorology and climate science.
    B) Fluid Lab: This lab will be used for performing hydrometeorological researches and experiments.
